The beans are grown in the highlands of Northeastern Peru by a pioneering collective of 284 farmers known as the Perfiles Cooperative. This Cooperative combines exceptional quality with a deep commitment to sustainability and social progress.

Perfiles Cooperative prefers a Swiss Water Decaf method which is a chemical-free decaffeination process. This method uses only water and a patented system to remove caffeine while preserving the coffee's flavour and characteristics. It's considered a natural and environmentally friendly alternative to other decaffeination methods that rely on solvents

Perfiles Cooperative received 1st places in the 2023 Peru Golden Cup which is a testament to their dedication and craft.

With 30% young farmers and 17% women members, the cooperative champions generational and gender inclusion. Their 560 hectares includes a protected forest and agroforestry projects, reflecting their intimate connection to, and care for, the land.

Each box of Peruvian Decaf contains ten home compostable pods of ground, roasted coffee - compatible with Nespresso® coffee machines.
